Turning

The turning workshop is equipped with a number of up to date lathes and instrumentation which allow an easy and accurate machining process. The turning workshop includes:

  • Centre lathes for small workpieces L min. 1000mm
  • Centre lathes medium and large size up to L 9000mm and øc 1000mm
  • Leopoldo Pontiggia CNC with Baruffali turret lathe 4 pos., L 15000mm and øg 1600mm, øc 1250mm
  • Safop CNC turret lathe 12 pos., longitudinal and transversal grinding, probe Reninshaw with program of dimensional control, 12 steady rests for large workpieces, workable turning L 17000mm and øg 2000mm, øc 1680mm
  • Lathe boring up to L 4000mm and ø 1550mm, Sandvik anti-vibrating system ø 200mm
